When you need critical power supply for your communications system, Intelepower makes the decision for choosing a UPS easy.
Available in a 27RU Cabinet with a Power Factor of <99 at nominal conditions and 50 to 100% load, the CX48 Types 1 to 5 are cost effective solutions for medium sized power requirements.
Intelepower CX48 systems are designed to provide reliable power and comply with all relevant Australian Standards. Intelepower systems use modular design philosophy for the electronics and incorporate premium Yuasa industrial batteries. The systems are designed to allow ease of access for installation and maintenance, with integrated network-ready monitoring and control functionality using TCP/IP protocol and web page access, with SNMP and SCADA technology. Operators are able to access system performance in real time from a remote location, reducing costs associated with servicing.
Intelepower is suitable for:
• Business, Corporate and Government Communications
• Key Telephone Exchanges (KTS)
• Private Branch Exchanges (PABX)
• Cellular radio base stations
• General telecommunication systems
We simplify the selection process for determining the most suitable Intelepower UPS by providing a clear and comprehensive table and battery sizing calculators.
Intelepower industrial DC Systems can be customised for your specific application and power requirements. Using a modular design philosophy, Intelepower systems are flexible enough to cater for expansion of components and ease of replacement.
This is achieved through the use of switch mode rectifier technology and hot swappable capabilities. This provides readily expandable power or N+1 redundancy options with minimal cost increases, while offering reduced MTTR (Mean Time To Repair).
Duty of Care – reduction of risk
The unique feature of the Intelepower battery segregation means that your personnel are protected from unlikely hazardous events. Century Yuasa ensures full compliance with relevant safety standards.
Power that you can rely on
With the reliability of Intelepower CX 48 – 1.8kW rectifiers and other CX components, the best MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) is achieved. This can be further increased by the addition of a redundant rectifier (recommended)
Intelepower CX Systems use only premium Yuasa UXF batteries to provide reliable power.
Low maintenance and upgrade costs
The modular approach to design allows for low cost replacement of electronic components, normally without any disruption to supply. It also keeps costs involved with upgrades at a minimal level.
Low running costs
The high efficiency of the latest switch mode rectifiers, all done with high efficiency power conversion switch mode technology, means that the lowest possible electricity usage is achieved.
Easy to purchase and integrate into customer premises
Delivery, installation and commissioning is all done transparently and efficiently by the Century Yuasa expert team. All you need to do is supply AC power close by.
No power down time
Intelepower DC UPS are intended to be powered continuously with no off period, unless the AC power feeding the equipment is off longer than the designed autonomy time.
Monitoring
Monitoring is standard on Intelepower systems which are network ready with integrated SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) and web page access. Flexible alarm outputs via CXCM2 can be configured to your special requirements.
Cabinet designs – indoor and outdoor
CX48 Types 6 to 12 is a compact 27RU Cabinet on a single small footprint. Other cabinet designs are available to order.
Surge and lightning protection
All Intelepower CX Rectifier Modules include surge and lightning protection as standard. Additional protection can be added to most Intelepower DC UPS.
