Intelepower is supplying UPS Systems for the complete array of electricity utilities; from the power generation giants, through to power transmission companies and continuing downstream to power distributors.

One of Victoria’s largest electricity distributors, supplying electricity to regional and rural centres in central and western Victoria has relied on Intelepower for almost a decade. Intelepower has been maintaining their substations and providing quality components for their Intelepower UPS systems. When they needed to upgrade from SCR (Silicon Controlled Rectifiers) to the newer technology of SMR (Switch Mode Rectifiers), Intelepower was there to make life easy for the engineers at the electricity distribution plant.

2 x 125V X/Y DC systems with N+2 redundancy 3 position switch DC distribution and Yuasa UXF100-12 batteries have been supplied and installed, offering the client maximum reliability and flexibility in their DC supply.

The Victorian electricity distributor will continue to install Intelepower systems in all their new sites as well as any refurbishments that they carry out.
